I am eagerly awaiting this documentary to show up on my Netflix so I can “watch instantly”.

Random comments/thoughts…
Wondering what happens during the season to put a stop to Tito vs Chuck 3.
Lol @ Clayton McKinney flipping the bird to Tito.
Josh Bryant and Kris McCray both seem like good dudes. Hopefully this will be an entertaining fight.
Josh Bryant won a tough fight, and yes it was entertaining.
Kyacey Uscola seems like he may be a pain in the ass in future episodes.
I’m typing random comments as I watch this episode.
Jamie Yager and the other “brown” guys segregated themselves last week, treating the non-”brown” guys like outcasts. Seems like Yager is rubbing a few people the wrong way.
I’m hoping for Uscola to win the first fight…but it seems like he should’ve apologized if he wrongfully accused Yager of trying to steal. Yager might be a pain-in-the-ass, but Uscola should man up and admit if wrong.
WOW what a first round! Uscola took a helluva beating, ended up on bottom, took more beating, but stayed in it and used an armlock to reverse, uh oh, illegal knee by Kyacey Uscola. Doesn’t really look like it landed in the replay. Whatever. Attonito by DQ.
Liddell looks fatter than usual.
Did Tito just say if his team loses this fight he’s going to “literally” shoot himself?
Yeager was impressive in his 1st round TKO of Charlie Blanchard.
Oh boy, am I excited, ESPN the channel that now airs UFC events will be airing live the Finale of  TUF season 10, for all of us to see in glorious HD!. I am not going to leak the results of the last show before the main event. Mainly because I have not seen it yet and it indeed doesn’t air here until Saturday which really does suck. Regardless of my Tv mishaps. The event should be one to watch. If it is anything like the season 9 finale show then I am more excited than I was before I started writing this.
I remember the main event on TUF season 9 finale because it was one of the best fights of the year. Diego Sanchez vs. Clay Guida, strange you say? Yeah thats right both of these men will be fighting at UFC 107.
Really in my mind the TUF series has done all but good for this sport, if you win the show then you are set up in the industry for as long as you want, and this is for one reason. You are the TUF champion of whatever season that it may be.
Don’t see my logic? OK.. lets take a look. I shall pick some highlights because the list of TUF winners and their success is too long.
Forest Griffin – Winner of season one, former UFC Light Heavyweight champion, fought with some of the best fighters in the world and is in the top ten of the world at his division. Main event superstar at the latest UFC event 106. Josh Koscheck, one of the best weltweights in the world and arguably should be the next fighter for GSP.
Diego Sanchez, is looking to become the champion of the UFC Lightweight division. He looks to be in the best shape of his life.I wouldn’t like to be staring him down as he runs to you from the other side of the Octagon. If anyone can do it. Its Mr BJ Penn

Lac du Flambeau, Wis. – Lake of the Torches Resort Casino will play host to mixed martial arts global powerhouse King of the Cage on Saturday, July 19th, in the Lac du Flambeau Amphitheater – also known as the “Indian Bowl.†Tickets are $35, $65 and $100. Local Wisconsin superstar Mike “Six Gun†Sixel returns to defend his zero loss record in his hometown of Wisconsin. Mike has had a few months off to gather himself and make some changes to make sure he is ready for the toughest fight of his career on July 19, 2008. He has left World Famous Team Quest to surround himself with a smaller more personal team that is equally as qualified. He is training out of soon to be World Famous Sports Lab, who was put together by Nate “the rock†Quarry and Greg Thompson.
Going into his fight in July, “Six Gun†said: “I feel like this is going to be one of the most exciting and entertaining fights at the Lake of the Torches yet. I believe this because of two reasons. One is that I am fired up more than ever after coming off of a loss that I was dominating up to the last few seconds. The second is because this will be my greatest challenge yet.â€
Terry Trebilecock, President of KOTC commented: “It’s not going to be an easy road for Mike due to his opponent. He is going to be facing a guy that held the record for most wrestling wins in High School in the state of Michigan and also was ranked 19th in the nation in Division 1 Collegiate wrestling out of Michigan. He also has a 6-0 MMA record. You don’t want to miss this one, because all that can be said is there’s going to be fireworks!!!â€
In the main event of the night, the KOTC Heavyweight Title will be up for grabs as Josh “Barnyard†Barnes puts his heavyweight belt on the line versus California sensation Tony “Kryptonite†Lopez. Insiders are afraid to guess which way this fight will go…both fighters love to stand in the middle of the cage and bang.
Representing our men and women in uniform and making her debut in the cage will be Sgt. Stefi Schneider, a recruiter in the Wisconsin National Guard. At 155, Sgt. Schneider had been a long practitioner of Pankration with Team USA. She is currently trains with Sixel’s Fight Club out of Eagle River, Wisconsin. Also fighting in the cage from the Fight Club camp will be the popular locals Justin Krumplisch, Jamie Johnson, Shane Cadotte, Ryan White and Sam Alvey. Alvey will be making his professional heavyweight debut after winning the “KOTC: Wisconsin Cage Quest†held this past March.
Michael Broderick, Director of Marketing for Lake of the Torches remarked: “Once again we are excited to hold this event in our beautiful lakeside amphitheater for what will no doubt be a phenomenal night of Mixed Martial Arts knock-outs and submissions.â€

I posted about ordering my new Atama summer gi a few days ago, and I’ve already received it. Thanks to GroundAndPound.com for the fast shipping. They sent exactly what I wanted. The gi is really nice, and it definitely feels like it will be cooler for training in hot weather. I tried it on and it fits great, it has the same cut as other Atama kimonos. I won’t be able to train in it until Wednesday, but it should be fun breaking it in.
This show looks like it’s going to be phenomenal. I think it’s a bunch of dudes travelling to different continents to fight native tribes. The previews show stick fights, grappling, etc… I believe it might be considered “extreme sports” because some of it looks like it may not be full-on fighting, but some kind of sport involved. Like maybe Croquet, except you get to hit the guy in the face with the stick.
I didn’t write about last weeks “Human Weapon” but it was great also, an MMA episode where the big dude fought a fat Rico Rodriguez to a draw in his first MMA fight, and the smaller dude (Jason Chambers) submitted Conor Heun with an Eddie Bravo Twister, that was nice.
Damn, I thought he looked a bit more diesel than usual at his Sakuraba borefest. Romeboy Royce has been juicin.
It was reported yesterday by the California State Athletic Commission that MMA legend Royce Gracie, who is usually rather slim, tested positive for Nandrolone, which is an anabolic steroid, after his decision victory over Kazushi Sakuraba on June 2 in Los Angeles.
Royce Gracie is suspended from June 2, 2007 through May 30, 2008, and will be fined $2,500, which is the maximum penalty by the CSAC. Royce has until July 13th to appeal. No comments from the Gracie family yet.

Former NFL receiver and USC Trojan football player Johnny Morton was indefinitely suspended by the California State Athletic Commission after his MMA debut fight in Los Angeles. Morton, 35, from Torrance, Calif. refused to take his post-fight piss test, according to CSAC Executive Officer Armando Garcia.
This means Morton won’t be getting be paid the $100,000 he was supposed to get for fighting Bernard Ackah, who KO’d Morton early in the first round, where he laid unconscious for several minutes. Paramedics cared for Morton in the ring, securing his neck in a brace prior to removing him from the ring on a stretcher. He was taken to a California Hospital, where it was reported he was awake and alert.
Johnnie Morton did however provide a urine sample to the CSAC’s prior to his fight. That sample is still waiting to be tested.
Well this is the first of what will hopefully be many posts on my new MMA/Combat Sports site. I’m going to try to keep this updated with the latest chatter from around the Mixed Martial Arts world. Please feel free to leave comments and speak your mind. I’ll try to stay on the topic of combat sports as much as possible, however, I may post whatever is on my mind at any given time, whether it relates to combat sports or not. As I type this, I am watching K1 Revenge 2006. I think i’ll start another blog entry for this event, in case I feel like writing something about it. Anyway, thank you for visiting MMA-EXTREME.
