Ken Shamrock vs. Ross Clifton

ross_cliftonI got home early tonight to  watch Ken Shamrock fight a fat giant dude they call “Grizzly Bear”. The guy is like 6’8″ tall and looks like he’s pushing 400lbs…surely Shamrock can take this fight easily…I hope. Whoever this chick doing the post-fight interviews is though, she might could kick Shamrock’s ass. Homegirl has some cannons for arms. Her name is Jennifer Alcorn, and she’s evidently a boxer.

Right now, Tonya Evinger is in there talking to some chick she was supposed to fight, but they’re not fighting for some reason, and instead Tonya says they’re gonna do sexy poses. She also says something about her and the other chick at a hotel room later tonight.

From what I’m reading, I’m glad I missed most of the event, I’ve heard it sucked so far…worse than the YAMMA… and right now there has been nothing on the screen for 15 minutes except for the empty cage, and Papa Roach playing in the background. Bring back Tonya Evinger to do sexy poses, imo.

OK I left to go eat some chili, but I came back to find out Tank Abbott was about to fight some other fat guy named Mike Bourke. WTF? I thought this fight had been called off…anyway, Tank knocked him out in 26 seconds with a forearm club to the back of the head.

HERE COMES THE GRIZZLY BEAR CLIFTON! Man, this dude is fat…and tall. Now Ken Shamrock is entering the arena. Fight starts, the fat guy, Ross Clifton (who I think is the actor who plays Hurley on LOST) is chasing after Shamrock, Shamrock nails him with a right hand on the side of the chin, knocks Clifton down and takes side control. Ken Shamrock gets an armbar and Clifton taps out.

OMG I just saw the fat guy try to kiss Shamrock’s little girl? The girl looked absolutely horrified. Please tell me someone is able to make a .gif of that moment.

XFC Online Pay-Per-View To Benefit Corey Hill

XCF ONLINE PAY PER VIEW TO AID INJURED MMA FIGHTER

With the excitement of the Dyna-Pep Rumble In Race Town being only days away, Xtreme Cagefighting Federation has answered the requests of MMA fans throughout the country, by broadcasting this historic event live with streaming video on Saturday, February 14th at 7:30pm.

FightZone TV is pleased to support the event and worthy cause as FightZone’s Jay Adams will be there to bring fight fans all of the cageside commentary..

“Not only do we want to offer the opportunity for everyone to see this event, but more importantly, Xtreme Cagefighting Federation wants to help raise money for Corey Hill, by providing him with a percentage of the streaming video proceeds.” says Doug Bland, Founder of Xtreme Cagefighting Federation.

Corey Hill who fights out of Rob Kahn’s Gracie Tampa stable, was a junior college national wrestling champion and is considered one of the top up and coming fighters in his division. Hill broke his leg in what many are calling one of the most gruesome sites in MMA history. Hills injury took place in December while fighting on a national televised event for the UFC®.

“This is awesome; I can’t believe the folks at XCF are putting something like this together for me. The doctors say I could be out for 12-18 months so any kind of money coming in is going to be a huge help for me and my family.” says Corey. Rob Kahn, Hill’s trainer / manager also commented, “It has been an incredible experience dealing with XCF on the Daytona event, I can’t get over the generosity and professionalism the Bland brothers have shown in the promotion of this event.”

Fans will be able to access the live video stream at the XCF website by logging onto www.xcfmma.com. The cost to view the live event is $9.95 and can be paid with by Visa®, MasterCard® or PayPal®.

“Xtreme Cagefighting Federation has the deepest appreciation for all MMA fighters. It doesn’t matter what organization you are part of or what school you train with, at the end of the day, we all need to better this sport by helping to support each other.” said Bland.

Scheduled to fight on the card are former UFC® fighter’s Frank Trigg, Terry Martin, Jesse Taylor and Jeremy May. Also competing is former All-Pro Tampa Bay Buccaneers Defensive End, Marcus Jones and Daytona residents Todd Cutler and Byron Byrd.
