my picks for tomorrow nights UFC Fight Night on SpikeTV

Rich Clementi -vs- Ross Pointon — meh, i dont really care, i hope someone gets knocked out though.. i like both guys alright, but i think i’ll pick Clementi to win..

Clay Guida over Din Thomas

Spencer Fisher over Hermes Franca – should be a good fight.

I really hope Chris Price (whoever he is) embarasses Ed Hermann. Money on Chris Price (eh, not much, i’ll probably lose it)

also, money on Chad Reiner against Josh Burkman.

Dean Lister over Nathan Marquardt..

Heath Herring over Jake O’Brien i guess.. i have a tough time deciding who i want to win this one.. of course Herring has the most experience overall, especially in big shows, i dont know how intimidated O’Brien might be or I would pick him to win, but nah, I think Heath Herring will win his UFC debut.

last but not least, I hope Sean Salmon KO’s or taps Rashad Evans. Quickly.

so, Matt Lindland is going to fight Fedor? WAR LINDLAND!!

It must be my love for udnerdog fights, but I really would love to see Matt “Woogie” Lindland win his fight against Fedor Emelianenko. Supposedly, they have agreed to fight on April 6th in St. Petersberg, Russia.

Lindland = balls.

Fedor is widely considered as the baddest ass on the planet, so anyway, I give Matt Lindland credit for having a pair of the biggest balls on the planet. Lindland also has a fight scheduled for Feb 2nd against Carlos Newton.

Randy Couture to come out of retirement and fight Tim Sylvia at heavyweight?

According the the Sherdog front page, it’s a strong possibility. A couple of weeks ago Randy Couture said he wanted to fight Tito Ortiz again if Tito would’ve won his fight against Chuck Liddell, but of course, Liddell won.

So should Randy come back and fight not only at heavyweight, but against the heavyweight champion? I’d love to see the fight, but I would really hate the see Randy Couture lose badly again. Yes, he is one of the greatest MMA fighters ever, but he is 43 years old, and has already retired after being knocked out by Chuck Liddell. I guess it will all depend on if Randy can take big Tim to the ground.. and keep him there.

Regardless, if the fight happens, you bet your ass I will be watching.
